Altrom was founded in Europe in 2021 to confront urgent economic challenges shaping our world. Building on this foundation, we are now expanding our presence to the United Kingdom, strengthening our role as an independent, nonpartisan organisation with partnerships across Europe, North America, Africa, and Asia. Guided by the conviction that sound policy must rest on objective analysis, we bring together economists, political scientists, and technologists to deliver rigorous, interdisciplinary studies that inform strategic decision‑making and support resilient, forward‑looking solutions.
Our Mission
To advance sustainable, inclusive prosperity through evidence‑based policy research and practical solutions. We envision a future where economic growth is balanced with social equity, environmental stewardship, and responsible technological innovation. As a registered member of the European Cluster Collaboration Platform (ECCP), we are recognised as a reputable organisation that is still growing, expanding our partnerships and strengthening our capacity to deliver impact across regions.
We champion four values:
- Impact — producing recommendations that are not only visionary but implementable, measurable, and scalable.
- Excellence — applying top‑tier research methodologies and advanced analytical tools, including AI‑driven modelling.
- Independence — delivering unbiased analysis, free from political or commercial agendas.
- Collaboration — working with policymakers, academia, industry, and civil society to co‑create solutions.
Our Focus Areas
- Economic Policy — Trade, fiscal, and development strategies that foster resilience and shared prosperity.
- Climate & Sustainability — Policies that align economic growth with net‑zero goals, biodiversity protection, and climate adaptation.
- Artificial Intelligence & Emerging Tech — Ethical, inclusive, and economically sound frameworks for AI adoption and governance.
Our Team
Our team includes former trade negotiators, AI specialists, climate economists and development experts. Collectively, we have decades of experience advising governments and international organizations. For example, we have engaged with EU trade committees and UN climate convenings to highlight how economic policies intersect with global goals. Altrom is committed to cultivating the next generation of policy leaders as well. We regularly host intern programs and fellowships, offering training in analysis techniques and policy advocacy.
